Forrest Breyfogle – ASQ Fellow, P.E., MBB, SSI – Founder and CEO
Forrest Breyfogle has authored over thirteen books on business management, Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology and its integration with Business Process Management (BPM). Implementing Six Sigma 2nd edition and the integrated Enterprise Excellence guide for going beyond Lean Six Sigma have been added to the Lean Six Sigma body of knowledge.
Breyfogle’s breakthrough approach represents an innovative advancement for the business process improvement methodology. He has spoken as a keynote and given many presentations at conferences throughout the world. CNN, CNBC and several other TV, radio, and publications interviewed him about the application of Lean Six Sigma and business management techniques.
Forrest Breyfogle received multiple awards in the past few years, from highly regarded organizations. Forrest received the ASQ Crosby Medal for his book, Implementing Six Sigma, and in 2011 was selected Quality Professional of the Year by the Quality Magazine. In 2012, he was awarded alumni of the year by Missouri University of Science and Technology and received the Leadership Award at the 2013 Lean & Six Sigma World Conference.

Liviu Ibanescu – P.Eng., CMQ/OE, MBB – President and Senior Partner
Liviu Ibanescu is a widely recognized for his contribution in the Lean Six Sigma community and well respected professional, leading organizational cross-functional teams to significant operational and financial results. Liviu’s Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement journey started in early 90’s.
At the current time, Liviu is the President and Senior Partner of Lean Six Sigma Canada and a Founder Member of American Society for Lean Six Sigma. Before this, he held positions as Senior Manger of Quality and Continuous Improvement with major North American Corporations.
In 2011, Liviu was the architect of the partnership with Forrest Breyfogle and his company. SSI, in partnership with Lean Six Sigma Canada, continues to present and deliver a series of ground-breaking Lean Six Sigma MBB, BB and GB training in Canada. Liviu continues to play a significant role around the world as ambassador and visionary, spreading his message of Lean Six Sigma, while actively participating in conferences, training and coaching.

Ed Welsh, MBA, MBB – Head of Consulting Services
- Held positions of increasing responsibility in line management roles, from Production Supervisor through Plant Manager to VP Manufacturing; and as Industrial Engineer, Distribution Manager, Quality Control and R&D Manager in staff/support positions. With several of these companies, played an integral, ‘hands on’ role in the successful implementation of modern management philosophies and techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, TQM, ‘Just In Time’ (JIT), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SPC, MRPII, Set Up Time Reduction, Employee Involvement and Team-Centered Manufacturing, resulting in substantial cost savings and operational improvements.
