Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training
For the online training and certification, the candidates have up to fourteen months to complete the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification requirements. Typically, completion of the certification takes one to three months on a part time basis, or the equivalent of 40-60 hours of individual study. No final project is required for the Yellow Belt certification.
Typically the Yellow Belt is team member, solving problems under the direction of the Green or Black Belt. As it is simply not possible for the Black Belt or Green Belt to lead the team and complete all the project tasks, it becomes important to delegate some of them to the team members – the Yellow Belts.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Guidance and Support
For the in-class onsite and public training, the Yellow Belts will receive four days of training in DMAIC and Lean.
Each online certification program includes virtually 24/7 coaching and support from your assigned Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt instructor. Online training course syllabus, online training assignment list and login credentials will be provided. You will also have access to hands-on Minitab or SigmaXL training. The participant must purchase the course textbook separately (Implementing Six Sigma, by Forrest Breyfogle III).
LSS Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge
The online Lean Six Sigma training follows the body of knowledge of ASQ recommended course textbook, Implementing Six Sigma 2nd edition, by Forrest Breyfogle. There is no exam required for certification, as the course is extensive, and the assignments cover the material in a satisfactory manner. All the assignments, projects and papers submitted will be kept on file at Lean Six Sigma Canada as objective evidence.
